San Fernando Government Secondary School's primary objective is to provide you with a proper education which is so necessary for advancement in life. It caters for a wide variety of the educational needs of the secondary student. Included amongst these are the the sciences, languages, the arts, business studies and technical subjects. Our Staff teachers and principals are a dedicated team with excellent academic backgrounds; the marjority of our teachers have a first degree and several have a Master's degree in their subject areas.

Modsec is the best government secondary school in the south and probably in the country. Respect for our name daily increases as the SFGSS student body continally shows itself as a force to be reckoned with in all areas where efforts are measured and graded.
